| We have full-time and part-time missionaries who
receive a stipend (cost of living offering) each month as well as a
Basic Food Basket when we are able. We also have volunteers who

About
the project
The slum area called Jardim São Manoel is located in
Santos City. It is a very poor area run by the drug lords. There is much
fear and oppression amongst the people that live there. There is only
one way in and out except for the canal that runs behind the favela
(slum). There is no government assistance and no day care of any kind
close by. There are two churches in the area - one very new with about
three people, and the other wanting to give up what they have started.
They need prayer. We have prayed and believe this is the next area that
we are to invest in. It is a spiritually heavy area with a lot of
battles ahead of us, but we are ready and willing, we just need the
resources to realize this project.
The project would include an already existing Bible Club, a
school reinforcement program, an adult reading program, a pre-screening
drug rehab program, friendship evangelism, Bible study classes, a
pre-school reading program and a Day Care Center. We will also
incorporate some new programs (in the works) for pre-teen and teens to
keep them off the streets and off drugs.
Needed Funds
Purchase Property $4000.
- 6000.
Build a building (approximately) $25,000.
The building would consist of: 4-6 classrooms, office, kitchen,
cafeteria and 3 bathrooms (boys, girls, adults). A playground is
included in the plans. It will be built to facilitate the addition of a
second floor in the future when the need arises. This price also
includes tables, desks, chairs, blackboards, kitchen equipment, etc.
